Tier 1 Data Center - 100% Uptime
Not very many Web Hosting Services can boast a presence in a Tier 1 Data
Center. Our Tier 1 Data Center is a part of the global Internet backbone,
with privately owned multi-gigabit US and European networks. They are,
in essence, the Internet. The Backbone is comprised of private,
redundant, optical, world-wide OC-48 with total transit capacity of
32 GIGABITS per second.
Beware of others who claim there Data Center is Tier 1. There are only a
handful of Tier 1 Data Centers. A Tier 1 Data Center is one whose network
is part of the Internet backbone. The other Tier 2 and 3 Data centers get
their network access by connecting to Tier 1 Data Centers via T1 and T3
cables. Any Data Center with T1 or T3 access to the Internet is NOT a
Tier 1 Data center.
A Tier 1 Data center is one in which many of its clients are Fortune 500
companies.
